Rocky Mountain Rags was founded at the base of Pikes Peak in 2010 by two active Moms passionate about getting and keeping their families active and healthy.
In a society with growing numbers of obese children and the erosion of family based activities, Connie and Jennifer wanted to share a piece of their Colorado lifestyle on a broader stage.
A key ingredient of getting their children to bike, hike and run with them in the mountains was helping the children have fun and be comfortable during the activity. Apparel is critical in maintaining comfort, protection and fun when cycling and they asked, "What do active kids wear"?
Connie and Jennifer answered this question by developing high tech, comfortable and fun cycling apparel for their children. They had the perfect garment test team at their disposal…for free!
RMR has now expanded to share these high quality original designs on a global basis. Each design is a Colorado original and created to give you a little piece of that "Colorado Outdoor Lifestyle" in every garment they produce. With a focus on quality, durability and unique products, each "Rag" is built to last and guaranteed to put a smile on the face of every child wearing RMR apparel.
